I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “everything old is new again.” From those dreaded mom jeans, that I wore in the 1980’s, to bell bottoms and tube tops of the 1970’s everything in fashion and life, seems to come back around eventually. Some things we enjoy seeing again…others not so much.
Even in publishing the world seems to go round and round, up and down, until finally a plot or genre you were fond of back in the day is popular once more. Or a series that you loved so much, you’ve read them over and over again, is making a return.
I feel that way about my Women of Surprise series.
I call them the little books that could. From a tiny glimmer of an idea in my head to the bestseller lists, the Women of Surprised have never stopped surprising me. And I’m delighted to share with you that the trio of stories set in the actual town of Surprise in the Catskill Mountains of New York State are making a comeback!
A Surprise for Abigial, Lydia’s Passion and Making Over Maggie have taken on a new format in audio. Abigial, Lydia and Maggie’s stories come to life under the delightful narration of Kimberly Austin.
And! With fresh covers designed by Rae Monet, Inc, the ebook and print versions are being re-released.
“If you love When Calls the Heart, you must meet the Women of Surprise!”
